How to Pick HQ
You can get Alliance Iron Mine before the fog is lifted by placing the banner properly.
That makes it easy to pick HQ —— Just pick somewhere close to Tundra. Basically somewhere near the blue line in the pic above.
STEP 1 search for the alliance iron mine near the blue line that within your banner reach. You may need to use the alliance marker for help since zoom in and zoom out is not user friendly for path building.
STEP 2 Draw a line and mark the Alliance iron mine on the map
STEP 3 Zoom out to see more buildings on the map, you will see 2 fortresses & 1 facility on the map. Just put your Alliance HQ in the middle and path your way towards facilities and Alliance iron mine later. Note: You don’t need to path toward Fortress, we pick the HQ here because we wanna save up advanced teleport during Fortress fight. We can just walk to that two fortresses while staying inside the territory.
STEP 4 Have a rough draft of which facility building you wanna take. You can check this for full facility Coords.
Time to build! Try your best to have as many alliance resources as possible while pathing towards other facilities. This planning is hard. Stay Strong!
Path Towards alliance iron mine. you will need it for alliance tech. If you don’t stock it earlier, your alliance tech will stuck for 2-3 days.
Priority for Alliance Tech:Growth (Alliance Regiminatation) > Territory (Tactical Expansion + Storehouse Expansion) > Battle (Rally Expansion)
MOVE TO TUNDRA After the tundra is unlocked, it’s time to think about where to drop your new HQ.
Alliance Resources needed for TUNDRA HQ:
700k meat
700k wood
400k coal
200k iron
If you’re a top 5 alliance, I do recommend you place your new HQ near one of the strongholds. The benefits will be listed as follows
a. Higher resources nodes (lv6-8)
b. Closer to Stronghold (2-3 mins marching), Fortress (5-6 mins marching) and some superior facilities, which means you can save a lot of advanced teleports for your alliance.
c. Usually there will be more alliance irons mine near the stronghold.
Note: If you’re not the strongest one, move after the other alliances made their decision, so you won’t engage in fights for facilities too early.
The ideal ratio for wood, meat, coal and iron will be 4:4:2:1 Please place your banners properly for those alliance resources. If you cannot organize it properly, you will end up like us hoarding too many irons…while waiting for other rss.
After settling down your HQ, you need to dismantle Hunting Trap and rebuild it near the new HQ. Make sure you have enough resources and time to do this! So you won’t ruin the event day.
Alliance Resources needed for Bear Hunt:
50k meat
50k wood
10k coal
1k iron
The position of placing a bear trap is also important. I do recommend you drop it somewhere with fewer alliance resources and far away from mountains so the place will be neat and clean for your alliance members.
The best position to settle your alliance members is to have the best players close to Bear Trap to save the rally time. But usually, it’s really hard to organize all the members to port to the designated place. They pick a place randomly!
